Fun night for all
Lots of fun! Lots of laughter. Took a round for the boys to get the hang of it. They got into the acting and accents. So much fun in fact we are doing another one this week.
  • Dressed up. Place cards with character names. Picked characters ahead of time.

Fun had by all
Lots of fun. The boys got into it with the acting and accents. Lots of laughter. Appreciated the help to update that characters to all male for our activity.
  • Dress up as spies. Might be good to have character read their lines in the clues.

Birthday Party
The whole experience was hilarious. We mixed up all the directions at first- yet that made it all the funnier as we read lines that were way out of context. When we finally got it together, the result was still funny as people went off script, spoke in strange accents and generally just had a great time. Loved it

Play it with British Accents!!
The game was fun! We did ours as if it was "MI-6" headquarters and to make it more interesting, we had everyone talk in a British accent the whole night. We loved it. Dressed up our house and found awesome fake screens on YouTube, etc. Definitely recommend doing all of the decor and setting the space. This is what made the game. Without that, the script is rather short and I'm not sure it's possible, based on the dialogue, to actually figure out who the murder is. There weren't very specific clues. And the dialogue order isn't the clearest. But even still, it was good fun.

To the game writers, I have a suggestion: include a list of the pieces hosts can make actual props for in the "Green Sheets". I tried to quickly skim the Plot sheets because I wanted to be able to play the game as well, but I missed a couple of the best ones since I didn't want to read it too closely and spoil it for myself.
  • In keeping with the MI-6 theme, we made a traditional British meal: Shepherds Pie along with "adult" English Tea and Biscuits.
  • We fully decorated the room! Given we did this right after Christmas, we got wrapping paper to dress up the walls to match the theme. Used every computer and screen with different "spy" screens we found on YouTube and made a few props based on the events in the game. It was great and everyone had a blast.

Fun game!
Got together outside with family on our outdoor patio to play this game while social distancing. It was fun! Everyone really enjoyed the mystery and really got into character.
  • This was a last-minute idea so we didn't really do anything for a theme.
