Fun to see team get our of their comfort zone.
Employee lunch time activity/team building. Everyone enjoyed the game. It was easy to set up and play. I modified it to fit our work environment with action figures and a "uniform" for each player. I created "crime scene" pictures to go along with the kit. Everyone had a great time.
  • Each team member received a "uniform" (Construction hat, t-shirt, safety glasses). "Suspects" were brought in on the pretense of making a concrete paper weight. Each person received a "tool" box with an construction action figure, pictures of the crime scene and weapon, a orange stress cone.
    Lunch was a Mexican buffet.
  • Irving Materials is a Ready Mix Concrete Company, the bikers were turned into construction workers with names connected to the industry. Everyone had to wear their company Tee and construction hat. I used the opportunity to show the Accounting Team how to make concrete by making a concrete paper weight.

Family Fun!
We created Ma's Saloon. Fake $1 bills posted all over. Beer signs and a full bar. Everyone played their part!
  • Pulled pork sandwiches, chili cheese dip and wings.
  • We all were in biker attire. 70's music in the background.

Murder on 2 wheels
We celebrated family and friend's birthdays by hosting this fun murder mystery. 24 guests came to help solve the murder using the clues outlined in the games' character portrayals. Lots of great biker get up costumes which was easy to come by. Lots of great ad lib acting added to the fun creativity in this well planned story.
  • Had pizza & finger foods at first ...after first scene, we enjoyed homemade chilli while people discussed possible clues...we ended the night with biker birthday cake & icecream!
  • Made up our own homemade Ma's Roadside saloon with sign. Had a mini dirt bike in an old carriage house renovated to be a party house. Lots of motorcycle costumes worn by all...even the associate friends, who did not have lead roles dressed in biker costume. Everyone enjoyed the play acting. As a hostess, I got to be one of the biker's girlfriend and gave instructions to the actors/actresses.

Ma's Roadside Saloo
This game was very confusing! 1st thing that went wrong was our fault...we didn't sit in the order the game suggested, having done this would have alleviated some confusion. But even if we did, the lines of the characters weren't in order. Sometimes a character would have a line that seemed completely random then in the next scene you could see where it should have been. Also the replys to the other characters comments were off to the side of the page which was hard to follow sometimes. The killer reveal was a complete surprise as there weren't any real clues in the game.
If you are going to play this, make sure you as the host sits down and reviews all the characters and play it out before actually playing.

Church Camp Extraordinaire
We had students guess who they thought it was based on the clues. THey did a lot of small group discussion and laughed a lot also. Great fun for all.

Murder on Two Wheels
Always do a murder mystery night and this was the one for this year. Everyone enjoyed the theme and dressing up for their part. One of the things I think needed improvement on were the "Responses to Characters". They should be used and informative, but if no one asks the correct question they aren't used, and that was the problem here. Make the responses usable regardless. Otherwise we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves.

Super fun!
I bought this for my husband's 30th birthday party. There was no way to surprise him about the whole party, so this part was the surprise. I had an outfit ready for him. He was so confused when everyone was arriving in biker outfits. Then I had him go change! Plus everyone was in character right from the start! So we were using different names than our real ones. Ha ha! Great surprise. I was a host AND a player and I did not find out who the murderer was beforehand. This made it a little more difficult to host than if I had read it all beforehand, but I wanted to play too! We had some very outgoing people and one pretty quiet person but everyone had fun and was able to get into character. I didn't do the best job giving instructions, because I didn't read them ahead of time. I was supposed to skip over the character bios and THEN read some more instructions ahead of time, I think. EVEN so and EVEN with one person joining last minute and me having to play 2 characters due to flaky people (read: miscommunication) it was STILL hilarious and fun. And many people had not met other people but we all were having lots of fun. YOU make this fun by getting into character! We drug this one out for about an hour and a half. It doesn't have to go that long but we just acted in character for 45 minutes before even starting the game. So fun. I felt like the murderer was not obvious, which is bonus points! If I could change anything it would be to have slightly easier instructions and for the participants to be a little less scripted. I would have liked to have had more suggestions for how to set the mood, change up the space, etc. I'd say 4-5 stars though! This had to be somewhat scripted because it was designed to be shorter.
  • I ordered pizza, breadsticks, and brownies. And some guests brought some cheap aluminum can beer to be "in character". It really set the mood!
  • The guests had great costumes. I could have done a lot more to make it a better environment for the party but I did absolutely nothing other than dress the part and act the part. That was enough.

Fun time at office party
It was a ton of fun. We had a impromptu "funday" right before the long weekend. So because we didn't have much time to prep, we had no costumes. But that didn't stop everyone from having a great time.

Super easy to set up and get into - really glad it was easy and able to roll out in no time. We had 30 people playing, so each character had about 3-4 players which made the game way more fun. I've attached some pics.
