An awesome good time.
We are a dance club and we played Inquisition of Vampires as a fun activity. We encouraged people to dress up and most of them did. It was pretty cool. The event went smoothly and everyone laughed and simply had a great time. We served snacks that stayed with the theme.
  • Set the mood with lighting decorations and costumes.

A Vampire themed murder mystery Birthday celebrati
We decorated the backyard as a gothic dining room, dressed the table with black napkins and a red velvet table runner. We had silver candelabras with black candles, and a chandelier with bloody candles hung above the table.
We had lentil soup for dinner, which is tomato based and super thick so it looks like blood and guts. We also served blood cocktails and red wine.
The story was good for a 30 minute mystery, I hosted the "Jazz Age" 1920s party last year which we enjoyed more, I think because there was so much more to it and much more involved.
Can't wait to try "The Terrible Castle of Baron Castaign" in April!
  • Blood cocktails (gin + pomegranate juice)
"Blood n guts soup" (tomato + lentil soup)
  • our blood cocktails were served with a syringe of pomegranate juice in a glass ready to add gin and soda.

A business meeting surprise!
I decided to surprise my salon team with this game as one of our weekly team meetings in October. 2020 has been rough on the salon industry and I felt my team needed to let loose and have fun but i was limited on my time. It was fantastic!!!! I ordered vampire capes and masks for each person and had everything decorated in a spooky Halloween theme included candles when they came in for the meeting. We had a blast!! Will definitely be doing more in the future ❤️
  • I decorated the salon with spider webs and all spooky decorations. I had all windows blacked out, candles and dim lighting. Ordered vampire capes and face masks for each person. I had chairs and tables set up in a circle around the room and i stood in the middle acting the part of the inquisitor/narrator and interacting with them in that way. It was so much fun!

Fun all around.
I hosted a party over Zoom for my daughter's 11th birthday. She, and 7 friends, thoroughly enjoyed it. I put the focus on enjoying one another's company and costumes and not getting to anxious about solving the mystery.

The girls really enjoyed themselves and are eager to play another mystery - and of course would like it even more when they can get together and do this in person.
  • Most girls were dressed as vampires - a lot of fun dressing up.

Family birthday party
We had a pretty good time. I should have reviewed it better before jumping into it with the guests. There were a few typos in the game which led to some confusion.

Vampire birthday party was a hit with adults!
Super fun birthday party for adults. Everyone came dressed in their vampire costumes and were very intrigued with the game. The length of time was perfect, not too long, not too short. It was great!
  • I found a cool vampire background music on YouTube.

Video to the masses
We wanted a way to fully engage our staff of 300 people during an all staff meeting. Doing this as a traditional murder mystery would have taken too long and would have left a lot of variables on the table. We instead took the information provided and wrote a "script" for the mystery and then filmed it. The movie was played at our all staff meeting and was a big success! This was an easy mystery to adapt to film and was a lot of fun!

Murder Mystery
We put on a murder mystery at our Comic Con. It was free to attendees. The guy who played the Inquisitor was FABULOUS! He is apparently very good at improv & one of our audience members is a private investigator and asked some really good questions. Everyone loved it & they are asking us to do it again next year. Thank you for having such a great product.
  • This was a filler between events so we didn't have snacks.
  • We did this in the Steampunk Hall and Vampires were really popular in Victorian times.

Vampire hens night
I ran the inquisition-of-vampires 30 minute game at my sisters hens night. The theme of the night was vampire's books and TV shows, so this game tied in really well.

The game was run at the start of the evening amongst 20 players. I split the characters up amongst teams of 2 to 3, decided in the night. I had one of the guests collapse to start the game of, because none of the guests knew about the game ahead of schedule.

This was my first murder mystery party, but I ran it without knowing the murderer. This made it even more fun! My husband had split the parts into sealed envelopes so I could play along.

It was a great game, easy to run and all the players got into it!
  • Decorations were black and red theme, menus were glued into the back of fake tombstones.

All the guests had great costumes, mostly vampire's but a couple of witches and a werewolf.

Awesome!
We used this for a game night with a scouting troop of teen girls. Our troop had previously completed a more basic game from an educational website, so they were ready for a second mystery , at a more complex level. This Inquisition of Vampires was perfect for us! It actually took about an hour, which was perfect for us as we had plenty of time. The characters were intriguing enough that they brought some of our quieter girls out of their "shell"...but still not too complex that they couldn't play the game. We had them choose their costume first, without knowing which character the costume belonged to...so it was a surprise to find out their identity as the game began. Loved it...can't wait to try another with my extended family!!!
  • used costumes / accessories / a few easy props...and file folders to put the character's info in so each player could have all their pertinent info at hand yet not reveal any info to others.

I am a very pleased customer.
I chose An Inquisition of Vampires for a last minute Halloween Party because it was of short duration and we had other games/quizzes the we wanted to also play. It was a big hit. My wife had decorated our garage and it was "dark and spooky". I should have printed the instructions for participants in a little larger print so they would be easier to read in the limited light. None-the-less, with minor mistakes it went very well and was enjoyed by everyone.

I will be back on your web site for ideas for our next party.
