Work Team Fun
This game was great we used this as a virtual team game and my team loved it. I downloaded all characters and distributed to the team. Those that did not want a character role were investigators. Had so much fun with this we will be doing more. Also love the download feature I can reuse the game with family.
  • We did this virtually and each person made a drink of their choice.
  • We all had different background effects on which made this game more fun. Some dressed up for their characters. I dressed as a Bartender.

Fun and easy way to spend an evening with friends.
We gathered some friends for our usual game night and surprised them with playing this. Everyone had a great time. It’s so much more enjoyable when people really get into their characters with actions and accents.
  • We had a pasta bar and an area set up like a bar for drinks
  • Didn’t really decorate

A contest party with our dance members.
A party at work. The murder mystery was a lot of fun and we plan on doing another one. Thinking the pirate one. People laughed and had a great time.
  • Asked people to dress for the 1930's

Kept us guessing to the end!
We held this murder mystery on Sherlock Holmes' birthday at our retirement home! It was so much fun to "dress up" & act out the parts.
  • We staged the "murder" by setting out a dead dummy in the middle of the room. We also used real clues like a beer mug & vial to add to the fun.

Great Virtual Event.
Hosted a virtual event with 40 Participants. The first round was a little shaky but by Round 2 we were all professional Gangsters. I love how the PDF file allowed me to do all of the prep work but still be able to particpate fully in the fun.

We used Google Hangouts with 8 Breakout Rooms, one for each Character.
  • I created a background photo for each Character using images of actual Mobster Bars from across the US, and avatar of the character and the Name. Each person that was part of the Character team set their Background accordingly

Easy to follow the script.
After Prom party (10 people) all ages 18 or older. We did a 1920's theme with decorations and had each character dress their "part". It was fun and everyone said they enjoyed it.
  • We ordered greek food, decorated with black and white decorations, curtain type twinkle lights, feathers, pearls, and nerf guns.
  • Gangster bar with some antiques, twinkle lights, a mirror'd ball in the center, striped seat covers and black and white table settings. We used the invitations in the packet.

It's the bees knees!
We used this script and the large group format for a party we held at our arts center. We had so much fun. Everyone enjoyed the story and I was so thrilled that the audience really got into working as teams, asking questions between rounds and solving the murder. It was a blast and everyone wants to do it again!
  • I created additional, non-playing characters for each guest because I think it helped them to get into the theme of the evening easier. We started the night with a cocktail hour when everyone mingled as their character. The Don greeted the guests and we had an Italian buffet dinner andthen murder!

Can’t Wait For Our Next Murder Mystery!
We had a blast celebrating my 30th Birthday Party with Don Carrasino. I have hosted murder mystery dinners before, but this was by far the easiest to use than every other company I have tried. None of my guests had attended a murder mystery party before so I went with the 30-minute mystery and was not disappointed. It gave the perfect amount of time and content to do after dinner and before cake! The storyline was so fun and it really brought out the funniest sides of each guest. This night has provided so many memories and we’re already planning our next party!
  • Pizza, pasta variety, Honey Apple Brie crostini, salad, garlic bread, and chocolate cake!
  • Sent a 20s style Evite, Played a 20s Jazz music playlist, took photos in our 20s outfits

Beantrees Cafe Staff Party!!
We hosted a dinner and murder mystery staff party at the café we own and had a lot of fun. It worked great to get everyone involved and as we have a live theatre next door lots of costumes to pull from. It was very easy to use and set up!

Fun was had by All!
We had a group of 60. The majority of the group also dressed up and had a lot of fun with the mobster theme. We decided to separate everyone in groups of 8-9, so each group solved the mystery and this way it didn't take too long. We received nothing but good comments from everyone. Everyone had a great time with the mystery and some were interested in where we purchased this one, so they could do their own!

Murder at the Jig was a ROARING {20s} success!
Murder at "the Jig" - we did the Don Carrasino murder plot with an entire restaurant full of people. Each table was either a character or an investigator, and they had to assign one person per table to take that roll. 98% of the guests came in costume...and we served a course before each round. It was a RAVING success and we did it with 120 people! we will be doing one monthly and look forward to using these EASY and SIMPLE layouts for all of them!
  • We served traditional 1920s fare. deviled eggs, smoked salmon cucumber bites, shrimp shooters, wedge salad, beef Wellington and risotto and dessert.
  • classy 20s, plume feathers stuck in liquor bottles, with Gatsby style table numbers, red, silver, black and gold. we also had a photo booth and prizes for best actor male and female, best costume male and female and best investigator. It was a BLAST!! in-between rounds and as each course was presented we played 1920s jazz music in background and only served "prohibition style" cocktails. giveaways at the end of the night were candy cigarettes and chocolate cigars. EVERYONE LOVED THEM!

Whodunit Roaring 20s style
Roaring 20s Murder Mystery Party. Party was just for fun. We had 15 guests and the game was perfect. Very good instructions. Made the party that much more fun.
  • Lots of silver, gold and black. Semi dark room (but not too dark guests could not read)
  • The party theme did that, the game just fit right in!
